Gestión de la Movilidad

La línea de investigación Gestión de la Movilidad se divide en dos grandes áreas,  Análisis y Evaluación de la Movilidad, y Modelización y Optimización, cada una de las cuales especializada a su vez en diferentes aspectos de las movilidad.

En el área de Análisis y Evaluación de la Movilidad la investigación se centra en el análisis y planificación de la movilidad urbana e interurbana y su sostenibilidad: planes de movilidad urbana sostenible, promociones de viajes a pie y en bicicleta. Por otro lado se analizan las externalidades y se diseñan encuestas de movilidad de viajeros para la previsión y gestión de infraestructuras de transporte.

Por otro lado, dentro del área de Modelización y Optimización, las investigaciones están orientadas a diseñar redes de transporte público y crear modelos de demanda de transporte.

Mobility Management (Finished)

Description

The research line Mobility Management developes projects that aims to analyse and planning the urban and inter-urban mobility and its sustainability through sustainable mobility plans, promoting trips by foot and bicycle, the sustainabylity assessment in metropolitan and interurban transport infrastructures and systems, contributing also to the public transport network design and the strategic transport planning trhough integral dynamics models of transport and land uses. This line also developes passengers mobility survey's for transport infrastructure forecasting and management.
